WHEREAS Complaint had been made unto us, two
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for
the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the
Quorum), by the Church-wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields in the said
County, That Mary Gebbie< no role > Widow , and her Son
named George< no role > aged Nine Years and upwards
are
lately come into the Said Parish, endeavouring to Settle
there, contray to Law. And it appeareth unto us the
Said Justices, and we do adjudge that they are likely
to become chargeable to the said Parish; and upon Exa-
mination of the Premises taken upon Oath, and other Cir-
cumstances, it further appeareth unto us, and we do like-
wise adjudge, that the Parish of Saint Dionis Back
Church in the City of London
is the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the Said Mary Gebbie< no role > and her said
Son.

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to Charge and
Command the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields forthwith
to remove and convey the Said Mary Gebbie< no role > and
her said Son
from the Said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields to the
Said Parish of Sr. Dionis Back Church
and deliver them to the Church-wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, who are
hereby required to provide for them according to Law.
Given under our Hands and Seals the 25th Day
of November 177 8 .

To the Church-wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the respective Parishes of
Saint Giles in the Fields in the County of
Middlesex , and St. Dionis Back
Church in the City of London
and to all other Officers whom it may
concern.
