WHEREAS Elizabeth Vincent< no role > of the
Parish of Saint Dionis Back Church
London single Woman , in her voluntary
Examination taken this Day in Writing, and upon Oath,
before me (one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace , in
and for the said City and Liberties) hath declared, that She
is now with Child, which Child is likely to be born a
Bastard, and to become chargeable to the said Parish of
Saint Dionis Back Church and that Thomas
Newman
< no role > of No 28 Great Peter Street in the Parish of
Saint ann Middlesex Carpenter
is the Father of the said Bastard Child: And
whereas Charles Roberts< no role > one of the Overseers
[..] of the Poor of the said
Parish of St. Dionis Back church hath made Application
unto me, for the immediate Apprehending the said
Thomas Newman< no role > to Answer to the Premises:

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to
authorize and require you, and every of you, to appre-
hend the said Thomas Newman< no role > and
to bring him before me, or some other of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace , for this City and Liberties, that
he be proceeded against as the Law directs. Given
under my Hand and Seal, this 22d. Day
of Ded in the Year of our Lord One
Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy [..] Eight
