Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us Two of her Majties
Justices of her peace
of the Said County (Quor nuns) by you the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of
Bermondsey
in the County Aforesaid That

Intent to gaine a Settlement for his therein for contrary to Law and that he
is likely to become chargeable to the Said parish and
whereas upon Examinacon touching the premisses taken
before us upon Oath we the Said Justices do Adjudge

changeable to the Said parish and that the parish of
St. Dionis Backchurch
in the City of London
is the
Place of his last Legal settlement

there who and hereby required to receive and provide
for him according to Law Given under our hands and
Seales at the Town Hall in Southwark
