Church Vane

The Minutes of the last Vestry of the 8th. April being
read and confirmed, Mr. Church Warden Robins acquainted
the Gentlemen present that the Committee empowered by
the last Vestry to repair the Vane at the East end of the
Church or to erect a new one, had met to consider thereof
but had come to no resolution, as the expence of erecting
a new Vane (if necessary) exceeded what was understood
at the last Vestry.

Mr. Hudson and Mr. Jutet were severally heard in
relation to the Expence of erecting a new Vane, and
as near as could be computed, the same would amount
to about Fifteen Pounds, Carpenters, Plumbers and
Smith's work included.

Ordered that a new Vane be erected at the
East end of the Church with a proper Column to support
the same, and that it be referred back to the same
Committee to compleat and finish it in a proper manner.

Collier Row
Property.

Mr. Church Warden Robins further observed that he
believed it would be necessary for some Person on
behalf of the Parish to go down to Collier Row, to take
a view of the Parish Estates, and see whether the
Covenants in the several Leases granted in the year
1775. to John Lord< no role > and James Marshall< no role > had been
performed.

An Abstract of the said Leases was then read over.

Ordered That It be Referred to the Church Wardens
and any of the Overseers with Mr. Hudson, and also
any Gentleman who had been of the Committee for Leting
the said Estates in the year 1775 to take a view of the
Parish Estates at or near Collier Row, and see into the state
and
