Mr. Church Warden Robins acquainted the
Gentlemen present that the occasion of this Meeting was for
the Choice of Ward Officers for the year ensuing

Constables
Inquest men

And Mr. Charles Barry< no role > being the first in Rotation was
put up to serve the Offices of Constable and Inquest Man
for the year ensuing and chose.

Ordered that Mr. John Dod< no role > , and Mr. Chas. Greenwood< no role >
who stood next upon the List be passed over, on account of
their not being Residents in this Parish nor in Langbourn
Ward.

Then Mr. James Eley< no role > was put up to serve the said
Offices of Constable and Inquest Man for the year ensuing
and Chose.

A Letter from Mr. William Lem< no role > was produced and
Read taking notice that he was going to the West Indies
but expected to return in the next Summer, and desired to
be nominated for one of the Common Council as usual, And
after some debate thereon.

It was Ordered that Mr. George Maynard< no role > , Mr. Peter
Pope, Mr. Edward Jutet, Mr. Thomas Hudson< no role > , and the said
Mr. William Lem< no role > . they being severally put in Nomination
be Returned to the Wardmote for Common Council Men for
the year ensuing. After which Mr. Church Warden Robins
adjourned the Meeting till another Summons shod. be issued
