Collectors
Sidesmen

Then Mr. Charles Barry< no role > and Mr. John Dod< no role > were severally
put up to serve the Offices of Collectors and Sidesmen for
the year ensuing and Chose.

Organist
Organ Tuner< no role >

Ordered that Mr. John Bennett< no role > be continued Organist
and Mr. George Griffin< no role > Tuner and Cleaner of the Organ.

Sexton
Bellows-blower
Parish Warder

John Iselton< no role > was put up and Chose, Sexton, Bellows
blower and Parish Warder, and It was ordered that Ten
Guineas be given to him as a Gratuity over and above his
Salary for his service during the past year.

Parish Clerk

Ordered that a Sum not exceeding Thirty one Pounds
be paid to Mr. John Winter< no role > Oswin Parish< no role > Clerk for one
year ending at Lady day last as a Gratuity upon condition
that he doth not collect any Money from the Parishioners
in him of wages and that he constantly discharge the
duties of his place.

Engine Keeper

John Iselton< no role > was then put up and Chose Keeper of the
Fire Engines for the year ensuing and the said John Iselton< no role >
being called in So much of an Order of Vestry of the 20th.
April 1775 as related to the Engines and their being tried
in the Month of August and February in every year was
read, and he was ordered that the same be regularly complied
with for the future.

Overseers

Then Mr. Charles Robins< no role > the present Church Warden,
Mr. Peter Pope< no role > , Mr. Thomas Hudson< no role > , and Mr. Joseph
Richardson
< no role > , were severally nominated to be Overseers of the
Poor for the year ensuing.

Auditors

Ordered that Mr. Pope. Mr. Hudson, Mr. Arch, and Mr.
Richardson, late Overseers , Mr. Maynard, Mr. Rutt, Mr.
Green Mr. Kellam, Mr. Roberts, and Mr. James or any three
of them be appointed Auditors to audit the Account of Mr.
Church Warden Robins the same to be audited in one
Month after Ascension day.

Church Vane

Ordered that it be Referred to the Church Wardens and
Overseers for the time being to consider of Repairing the Vane
at the East end of the Church, and either to have the same
properly Repaired or a new one set up which ever should appear
most adviseable.

Minutes of
Parish Workhouse

The Minutes being read of the Proceedings of the Church-
Wardens and Overseers at the Parish Workhouse at Hexton for
the last year Mr. Church Warden Robins adjourned the vestry
till another Summons should be issued.
