to treat with any Person for Letting the same.

The Minutes of the last Vestry were then read and
much debated on: and several Proposals made by some
of the Gentlemen present, concerning the proper mode of
Letting the Parish Estate at Ware which was first taken
into consideration. Among others, Mr. Ridgeway offer'd
to put it up at Bear Key to the best Bidder without charging
the Parish anything for his trouble: and other Gentlemen
thought it most adviseable to Let the same Estate by a
Committee of the Church Wardens and Overseers at Ware

At length Mr. Tutet moved that the Church Wardens and
Overseers do go down to Ware, and be empowered to treat with
Mr. Green the present Tenant at twenty five Pounds P Annum
and in case of his refusal with any other Person at no less
sum and report their proceedings to a subsequent Vestry.
And being seconded by Mr. Viner the Question was put but
carried in the Negative.

Ordered that an Order made at the last Vestry that the
Church Wardens and Two of the Overseers therein named
be desired to go down to Ware for the purpose therein mentioned
be now Revoked.

Mr. Johnson then moved that the Church Wardens
and Overseers with Mr. Thomas Ridgeway< no role > do go down to
Ware, and take a view of the Land: that they be empowered
to make an offer of the same to Mr. Green at what they shall
then think to be the value, and upon his refusal that they
treat with any other Person on the best Terms they can; and
being seconded, the Question was put and carried in the
Affirmative.

Mr. Gretton then moved that the same Gentlemen be a
Committee to go down to Collier Row, and treat with any
Person or Persons for the Letting the Parish Estate there
on the best Terms they can, and being seconded, the Question
was put and carried in the Affirmative, Nem: Con:

Then Mr. Church Warden Barber adjourned the Vestry
till another summons should be given.
