Then John Iselton< no role > was put up and chose Sexton.
Bellows Blower, and Parish Warder, And Mr. Henry Newton< no role >
Observ'd that he behav'd very well in his Offices, and as it
was customary to give him a Coat and Laced Hat once
in two Years as Parish Warder, He Moved That a plain
Waistcoat and Breeches might be added there to, And
being Seconded by Mr. William Kippax< no role > the Question
was put and past in the Affirmative Nem: Con:

Ordered that John Iselton< no role > the Parish Warder be
allow'd for the future a plain Waistcoat and Breeches once
in every two Years at the Parish Charge, over and above
the usual allowance of a Laced hat and Coat.

Parish Clerk

Ordered that a Sum not exceeding Twenty Guineas
be paid to Mr. John Winter< no role > Oswin the Parish Clerk for one
Year ending at Lady day last not as a fixt Salary but
as a Gratuity, Upon Condition he don't collect any Money
from the Parishioners in lieu Wages and that he
Constantly attend and discharge the duties of his place
on all occasions.

Engine Keeper

Then Mr. John Cooper< no role > was put up and Chose
Keeper of the Fire Engines for the Year ensuing.

Overseers

The Vestry then proceeded to Nominate Overseers
and Mr. John Haydon< no role > . Mr. Peter Pope< no role > , Mr. Richd: James,
Mr: Henry Newton< no role > , Mr. Francis Leech< no role > and Mr. William
Kippax, were severally put up to be Overseers for the
Year ensuing. And upon Holding up of Hands Mr.
Church Warden Haydon declared That by a Majority of
hands the Choice had fallen on. Mr. Peter Pope< no role > , Mr. Richd:
James,
< no role > Mr. Henry Newton< no role > and Himself, and They were
accordingly Nominated to be Overseers of the Poor for
the Year ensuing.

Auditors

Ordered That Mr. John Chauntrell< no role > Mr. William
Kippax, Mr. Richard James< no role > This name instance is in set 2783. , Mr: Henry Newton< no role > , Mr.
Francis Leech< no role > , Mr. Thomas Hunter< no role > , Mr. Peter Pope< no role > ,
and Mr. George Maynard< no role > or any Three of them be
appointed Auditors to Audit the Account of Mr. John
Haydon, the same to be Audited in one Month.
