Mr. Wills Mr: Hay & Mr.
Thorold

This Vestry was Summoned by Mr: Richd. Tirrell< no role >
Upper Church Warden for the Choice of a Lecturer in the Roome
of the Revd. Mr: Mead lately deced and the Candidates were Mr.
Wills Mr. Hay and Mr: Thorold< no role >

Then the Question was put whether One or Two Lecturers
should be Chosen and it passed in the Affirmative

Lecturer

Then were severally put up Mr: Wills Mr: Hay and Mr.
Thorold and they being severally put to the Vote the Choice fell on
Mr: Hay whereupon he was Elected accordingly

The House lately in
Dispute given to Dr.
Smith & his Successors for
ever

Afterwards a Motion being made in this Vestry that there
had been Frequent Disputes revised from time to time between the
Minister and this Parish Concerning part of a Building on the
North west Side of the Church commonly called the Parish own
House containing a Cellar a Kitchen and the Room's over it in which
formerly lived John Martin< no role > Parish Clerke and now in the Occupation
of Miles Whisken Parish Clerke to prevent any further Disputes
and Misunderstandings of that kind The Question was now
Put whether the Parish was willing to relinquish all further
Right or Claime whatsoever to the said House or Building and Settle
it on the present Minister and his Successors for ever whereupon it
was Carryed in the Affirmative

At a Meeting held on Maunday Thursday being
the 18th. April 1757
