Then Capt. Newman was put up and chosen Scavenger Constable & Inquestman
Then the Vestry desired the Churchwarden that a bond shall hereafter be signed with
good Security by the Under Churchwarden before he be chosen Upper Churchwarden of a
penalty and Condition as usuall which being put to the vote was Orderd. accordingly
Mr Tambes petition being read and in regard to cannot help himself being afflicted with
the Palsie It was put to the vote and ordered That the Church Warden should pay him
Twenty shillings for present Subsistance.

This Vestry was sumoned by Mr Thos: King Upper Churchwarden for the
further Choice of Ward Officers vizt. Scavenger Constable & Inquestman in the roome
of Mr Pereira< no role > who fined last Vestry

On account of Capt. Newman who would excust himself by an Art of Parliament for
registering Seamen for serveing parish Offices It was put up to ye Vote again whether he should be
againe chosen and returned and was carried in the affirmative

Then Mr John Wood< no role > being next in Course was put up and chosen for Scavenger
Constable and Inquestman.

Mr: Brocks pention to be
increased [..] P week

At this Vestry was taken into consideration Bridge Brocks pention And It being put
to the vote It was orderd. that her pention be increased to two Shillings a week.
