Surgeon 's representation
respecting pass people.

andThe Surgeon having represented to the Committee that Persons
committed to this Hospital to be passed to their Parishes frequently come
in Ill and full of Vermin and the Committee finding upon enquiry that
no Blankets or proper Cloathing have been allowed for People of that
description

Order thereupon.Ordered that Six Shirts Six Rugs Six Straw Mattrasses and 12
Blankets be provided for the Pass people on the Men's Side and that
those who are sick be cleaned as soon as they come into the House and
seperated from the healthy in the adjoining Room to the Pass Ward

Porters House.The Committee being informed that the front of the House at present
occupied by the Porter is to be pulled down

Ordered that he be permitted to remove into the House adjoining to
the North side of the Women's Prison and that the Lumber in that house
be put into the Women's Prison till disposed of

Surveyor to give
direction for disposg.
of Materials & Lumber &c.Ordered that the Surveyor do give directions for disposing of the same
together with the Old materials, which have been sorted, in any manner
he shall think most proper and that the Hall Wall be properly repaired
and made ready for the Workmen to be enabled to form their Estimate
for contracting for building the Men's Prison and that Advertisements
be inserted in the papers that the Committee will meet on Wednesday the
8th of June next to receive proposals for the same./.

By the Calender of the Prisoners there appeared to be

4 Apprentices
7 Children
