By the Company of Parish Clerks in their Registers [..]
Bills the whole of the said Parish is entred as one of the Parishes [..]
the Walls & returned as such, & there are several other parishes
exactly in the same State (that is to say) part lying within the Liberty
London and part in Middx, such as Bishopgate, Cripplegate , St.
Sepulchre & abt.

By an Act of Parliament made & passed in the last
Session of Parliament intitled "An Act for the better Regulation of
Parish Poor Children of the several parishes therein mentioned
within the Bills of Mortality" It is amongst other things Enact [..]
"That all & every Child and Children who on or before the first day of [..]
"1767 was or were born in any workhouse or Parish House or [..]
"should thereafter he born in any Workhouse or Parish House, or [..]
by any select Vestries, Governors, Directors, or managers appointed
"for the management of Parochial Affairs, or by any Churchwardens,
"Overseers of the Poor , or other Officer or Officers authorized by there [..]
"Parishes following, or any of them respectively (that is to say) the
"Seventeen Parishes without the Walls of London, the twenty three
"Parishes in Middlesex & Surry being within the Bills of Mor [..]
and the Liberty of the Tour of London, and the ten Parishes with
"the City and Liberty of Westminster shall be nursed and take
"careof in the manner as thereafter mentioned"

And by the sd. Act of Parliament (inter abt) Liberty is gra [..]
of sending Parish Poor Children under Six years of Age to the
Foundling Hospital upon such Terms as should be agreed on [..]
It is Enacted "That the Terms agreed upon and the Sums agreed
"be paid for the Admission maintenance & Education of such Parish
"Poor Children as shall be sent to the said Hospital shall be paid by
"Overseer or Overseers of the poor for the time being out of the Poors [..]
"of each Parish respectively and in case any Sum or Sums of [..]
"agreed between the Select Vestries Governors, Directors or Managers
"Churchwardens or Overseers and the Governours or Guardians of the
"said Hospital or any five of them in Committee, shall not be paid
