The Vestry also nominated and made Choice of the following 18
Gentlemen Antients of the Said Parish as a Committee to give their
advice and Assistance to the Churchwardens and overseers of the
Poor of this Parish during the Present year touching the Several
Tradesmens Bills and the Goods and Provissious delivered for the
Use of the Poor of this Parish and to See that the same be agreeable
to their respective Contracts and that such Bills be reasonable And
in General to look into the Conduct of the Workhouse of this Parish
And directed that such Antients be Summoned by the Beadle to wit 3,
at a time by Rotation to meet at the Workhouse every Friday at 6,
Clock in the Evening for the Purposes abovemenconedThe

It was Resolved and ordered by the Vestry as follows touching
the taking Fines to Exempt Persons from Serving offices

First

That the Future no less than Thirty Guineas be takn.
as a Fine for excusing any Person from Serving all offices
in this Parish Except never the less there out the office of
Collector directed by the act lately Passed for the better
Paving the streets of the said Parish The which office
is not intended to be included in this act of Vestry31 10

Second

That after any Person hath Served or fined for one office
that no less than Twenty Seven Pounds be taken as a Fine
for excusing him from Serving all the other offices save as
aforesaid27

Third

That after any Person hath served or fined for two offices
that no less than Twenty three Pounds be taken as a Fine
for excusing him from Serving all the other offices Save as
aforesaid23

Fourth

That after any Person hath served or fined for three offices
that no less than Twenty one Pounds be taken as a Fine
for excusing him from serving all the other offices Save as
aforesaid21
