one of the Renter Churchwardens of this Parish is lately be [..]
Bankrupt And that there is great reason to be leive tha [..]
there were in his hands When he became Bankrupt on one [..]
belonging to this Parish to a considerable amount, but th [..]
particular; cannot be ascertained till an Examination of
his Accounts, and of the Monies Collected by him on the
Church Rates made for the Freedom Part of this Parish [..]
for the Years 1764 & 1765 and of the Monies Collected by [..]
Layton the Renter Churchwarden for the Lordship Part of the
Parish on the Church Rates made for the said Lordship
Part for those Years and paid by said Mr Layton to him, a [..]
taken, as likewise an Account of what monies have been
paid to the several Workmen for paying of whom the said
Rates were made
Whereupon a Motion was made that a Committe of
three Persons of the Freedom Part, and the like number of
Lordship Part of this Parish, with the present Upper
Churchwardens and the said Mr Layton be Appointed for
taking and Examining of the said Accounts, and to Repo [..]
their Proceedings to a future Vestry, And on the Question be [..]
put, was carried in the Affirmative, And thereupon th [..]
following were appointed such Committee, who or any 5 [..]
them to be a Quorum to Act the whole being Summoned
of the Freedom Partof the Lordship Part
