The said Mr Thomas Sabe< no role >
proposed to take a Repairing Lease of the
Feoffees for twenty one years from the 5th. day of April
next of the two
Messuages or Tenements in Aldgate Hight Street
now in the Occupations of
Wood formerly but one House (and whereof a Lease
dated & the 30th. day of March 1704
was granted by the then Feoffees to Mrs. Ann
Collett< no role >
deceased for 61 years from Lady day then last) at and Under the
yearly Rent of Twenty Pounds Clear of all Taxes and Deductions
whatsoever payable quarterly, And to be inserted in the said Lease all
the usual & common Covenants contained in Repairing Leases granted by the
Feoffees of the Estates belonging to this Parish and Mr Sabe to Execute a Counterpart
thereof,-the Lease & Counterpart to be at the Joint Expence of the Parish &
Mr Sabe-Which said Proposals of Mr Sabe the Feoffees present
Agreed to, And Ordered Mr Fisher the Vestry Clerk to prepare such Lease &
Counterpart Accordingly
The said Mr Sabe also Proposed to take a repairing Lease of the
Feoffees for Ten years and one quarter from the 5th. day of April
next of the
Messuage or Tenement in
Woolsack Alley
in Aldgate High Street
(late the
Essex Coffee house
) At and under the clear yearly Rent of Four Pounds
payable quarterly in which Leave are to be certained all the usual & comon
Covenants in Repairing Leases granted by the Feoffees of the Estates belonging
to this Parish, the said Lease to be granted within two Months from this
date, and a Counterpart to be Executed by Mr Sabe, and both to be at the
joint Expence of the Parish and Mr. Sabe, Which Proposal the
Feoffees present agreed to, And Ordered Mr. Fisher the Vestry
Clerk to prepare such Lease and Counterpart accordingly.
