At a General Vestry of the Inhabitants of [..]
freedom and Lordship parts of this Parish wh [..]
pay to the Poor thereof held in the Parish Chu [..]
on Thursday the 17th. day of November 1757
pursuant to Notice given in the Church for [..]
purpose on Sunday last in the forenoon [..]
after Divine Service.

Churchwardens

And a great Number of other Inhabitants

The Churchwardens acquainted the Vestry that they were [..]
together in relation to a Demand made on them for paving [..]
posting Etc. in front of the Church amounting to about £43. fo [..]
non payment whereof they had been Summoned before the [..]
of Servers, Also in relation to the Sum of £42 or thereafter
being ballances due on the Audit of Messrs. Houghton & Hance [..]
Messrs. Smith and Newton Renter Church Wardens Accounts and
the Sum of £8 for incident Charges & Expences relating to the [..]
Also in relation to the Parish Alms houses in lslington they being
out of Repair and that it appears by a Surrey made thereof
the Expence of such Repairs will amount to about £20, So [..]
whole Sum necessary to be raised for the Several Purposes afo [..]
will amount to £126 or there abouts

Ordered that a Rate be made on the Inhabitants of this
who pay to the Poor to defray the above mentioned Expences

NB. The next to be entered
before this

Ordered that the said Rate be Three pence in the [..]
of the yearly Rents as ascertained by the Land Tax for
present year
