The Feoffees now took into Considn. Mr Phipps's Request made
at last Meeting to have the Term of 31 Years for which he is
to have the Houses in Cock & Hoop Yard (late Wheatley's)
of the Feoffees. enlarged to 51 Years or at least to 41 Years
& the Feoffees debated the Matter but did not come to any
Resolution with regard to it but referred the further Considn.
thereof to their next Meeting

The Feoffees now also took into Considn. Mr Phipps's
Proposal made at last Meeting for taking on a repairing
Lease the Houses & Premes in Hounsditch & Cock &
Hoop Yard late leased to Mr Lander which upon derating the
Mrc the Question being put whether the sd proposal shod
be Accepted or not, was carried in the Negative

Mr Smith Appeared according to Sumons to Show Cause why
he has not complied with ye Covents. of ye Building Lease
sometime since granted him by the Feoffees (in
building on ye Grod. thereby Let him) And Acquainted ye
Feoffees that he has employed Workmen for that
purpose & that the same will be speedily done whereupn.
the Feoffees thought fit to Acquiesce therein

Mr Hill also Appeared upon the same Accot. and
acquainted the Feoffees that his Building accordg to
his Lease will be very speedily completed & the Feoffees
acquiesced therein
