George Eastwood< no role > maketh oath that divers Years
ago he was bound Apprentice by Indre to his Brother Thomas
Eastwood
< no role > of the Parish of Preston in the County of Lancaster
Tobacconist & Served the Whole of Such Apprenticeship there with
his Said Brother & by means thereof gained a legal Settlement
in the Sd. Parish That he this Deponent has not Since lived as a
hired Servant for a Year nor Rented a house of the Yearly Rent or
Value of Ten pounds nor served any Parish office or paid any Poors
Rates or Kings Taxes nor done any Act to his knowledge or belief
to gain a Subsequent Settlement That he hath a wife named Hannah< no role >
& three Children namely Elizabeth< no role > aged about Eleven Years
Mary< no role > aged about eight Years &Hannah< no role > aged about thirteen
Months the lawful Issue of this Depont By his Sd wife to whom he was
lawfully married

Sworn this 22d day
of July 1775 before.
