Mary Steeds< no role > Single woman maketh oath
that divers Years ago her Father Thomas Steeds< no role > Rented
a house & a Close of Pasture with the Apparts at a place
Called High Beach in the parish of Waltham Abby in
the County of Essex & was Charged to & and Poors Rates
for the Same as this Deponent has been credibly informed
& Verily believes & by means thereof gained a legal Settlemt
there & in Which parish this Deponent & her said Father
were also born as She has also been informed & believes
That this deponent Can't Set forth Whether her Said Father
be now living or dead or Whether he ever did any Act to
gain a Subsequent Settlement That She this Deponent never
lived as a hired Servant for a year nor was ever bound
Apprentice nor was ever Married nor to her knowledge
or belief ever did any Act to gain a Settlement for herself
