William Peters< no role > maketh oath That divers
Years ago his late Father William Peters< no role > deced rented a Farm
of the yearly Rent of Fifty pounds in the parish of St Mary
Stratford Bow in the County of Middlesex & by means thereof gained
a legal Settlement there That this said Father died there (where
this Deponent was also born) & that he did not afterwards do
any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement That he this Depont
was hired & lived yearly as a hired Servant at Certain Yearly Wages
with his said Father in the same Parish & Continued in
Such Service for the Space of two Years & by means of Such
hiring & Service gained a legal Settlement there That he
this Deponent has not Since lived as a hired Servant for the
Space of a year nor rented a house of the yearly Rent or
Value of Ten pounds or Served any Parish office or paid any
Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or done any Act to gain a Subsequent
Settlement & that he hath a Wife named Elizabeth< no role > to whom
he was lawfully married
