Stephen Gale< no role > maketh oath That his Father
William Gale< no role > hath informed him & which information he believes
to be true That many Years ago this Deponts. Said Father rented
a house in Leppards Court Baldwins [..] Gardens in the Liberty
above the Barrs in the County of MiddlesexParish of St Andrew
Holborn in the County of Middlesex (where he this Deponent
was also born) & was charged to & paid Parochial Taxes for the
Same & by means thereof became legally Settled there That to this
Deponts. knowledge Information or belief his Said Father never
did any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement That he this Deponts.
never was bound an apprentice nor ever lived as a hired servant
for a year nor ever rented a house of the yearly Rent or Values
of Ten Pounds nor did he ever pay any Poors Rates or Kings
Taxes nor do any Act to gain a Settlement in his own right
And that he hath a wife named Elizabeth< no role > .
