Elizabeth Mumford< no role > the widow of John Mumford< no role >
deced Maketh oath That her Said late Husband divers
years ago lived in & rented a house in Crown Court in the
Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate in the County of
Middlesex and was Charged to and Paid the Kings Tax
for the Same & by Means thereof gained & a legal
Settlement in the said Parish And this Deponent Saith
that her Said husband did not afterwards do any Act
to gain a Subsequent Settlement And this Deponent farthr
Saith that Since her Said late husbands Death she hath
not done any Act to gain a Settlement in her own right
or any Settlement by Marriage That her Said late husband
had by aforesd wife one Mary Mumford< no role > who is now
living & who was a Child & Part of his Family at the
time he lived in Crown Court & Paid the Kings Tax
there as aforesd. And that to her knowledge or belief she
the sd Mary Mumford< no role > never was an Apprentice nor
ever lived as a hired Servant for a year no was ever
Married nor ever did any Act to gain a Settlement
in her own right.
