Singlewoman taken on oath before me Christopher Scott< no role >
Esqr. one of his Majesties Justices of the Peace in and for
the Sd County of Middlesex this 18th Day of
September 1770

Who on her Oath Saith That Sometime in the Month of
February now last Past in the Parish of St Botolph
without Aldgate in the sd. County of Middlesex She the sd
Elizabeth Beale< no role > was delivered of a Male Bastard Child
which said Child hath been Since Baptized and Registred
by the name of William Ashby< no role > And that one William
Ashby
< no role > of Aldgate High Street in the sd. Parish of Saint
Botolph witht Aldgate London Butcher did get her
with Child of the said Bastard Child.
