Samuel Johnson< no role > a Singleman maketh oath That
he well knew one Elizabeth Hyam< no role > late of the Precinct of
St. Catherine in the County of Middx deced And this Depont
Saith that he this Depont. and the said Elizabeth Hyam< no role >
Cohabited together as Man and wife for divers years in the
Parish of Waltham [..] Abbey in the County of Essex
(although in truth they were never Married) And that du [..]
Such their Cohabitation in the Same Parish She the Said
Elizabeth Hyam< no role > has two Children born of her Body then
to wit Mary < no role > aged about Thirteen Years and Elizabeth< no role >
Aged about twelve years both of whom were baptized &
registred in the Said Parish by the Surname of Johnson
and have not yet done any Act to gain a Settlement in the
own right. And this Depont. further Saith that he and
Said Elizabeth Hyam< no role > afterwards left the Said Parish and
Continued to Cohabit togethr. as aforesaid And that during
Such last Cohabitation She the Said Elizabeth Hyam< no role > her
Another Child born of her Body in Lower Eastsmith field
in the Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the
Said County of Middx to wit Sarah< no role > Aged about Six years
who was baptized; & registered by the Surname of Johnson
the Collegiate Church of the Said Precinct of St Catherine
And this Depont. furthr. Saith That the Said three Children
are illegitimate (as this Depont apprenhends) their Said late
Mother never having been Married to this Depont. or to a
other Person to this Deponts. knowledge or belief; And that
are all become Chargeable to the Said Parish of Saint
Botolph without Aldgate .
