Richard Hards< no role > maketh oath that about Three Years ago
he rented two Upper Rooms in a house in Norris's Court
Nightingale Lane in the Parish of Saint John wapping
in the County of Middlesex and was rated & Assessed to and
Paid the kings Tax for the Same and by Means thereof as
he this Deponent is advised he gained a legal settlement
there And this Deponent Saith that he hath not since rented
a house of Ten Pounds a year or upwards nor served any
Parish offices nor Paid any Poors Rates nor kings Taxes
Save and except That he this Depont. hath since Paid the
king's Tax for a house he now occupies in Mouse Alley
in the Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate in the County
of Middx But without having ever been Charged or assessed
for the same house in the kings Tax Books belonging to the
Said Parish of Aldgate to the knowledge information or
belief of this Deponent And this Deponent farther Saith
that he hath a wife named Margaret< no role > and a Child named
Elizabeth< no role > Aged about Nine Years the lawful Issue of this
Deponent by his said wife
