Leake Junr. Esqr to be a Governor of these Hospitals
And had ordered that the Surveyor should give directions
for painting and white washing the Hall also for enlarging
the Window upon the Great Stair Case and for stopping-
and white washing the Turrett agreeably to his Estimate
And that the Committee having viewed the Premises
in the occupation of Mr Silas Palmer< no role >
and considered his
application to the Committee on the first of February
last had resolved that agreeably to the 26th. standing Rule
and Order the said request could not be complied with
Wednesday June 7th.
That the Committee had accepted a proposal from Mr
Thomas Poynder< no role >
for the repairs necessary to be done to the
Roof and the out side of the Hall and Chapel for the Sum

And had ordered that the Cieling of the Court Room
should be white washed and the Lobby white washed and
painted under the direction of the Surveyor

That the Committee had consented that Messrs Janson and
Howard should assign their Lease of a Area or Passage
leading to a Quakers Meeting House in Bishopsgate
Street to the Trustees of the said Society, that Mrs Judith

should assign the Lease of a House in Lime
