Continued Thursday Novr. 30th. 1797

And that the Committee had Audited Bills amounting
to £284-10-10

Wednesday Novr 1st.

That the Committee had consented that Mr John Hewitt< no role >
the present Occupier of the Castle at Moorgate should be
continued as Tenant at Will during the pleasure of the
Committee, at a net Rent of £65-..-.. per Annum.

That the Committee had taken into consideration the
Application of Mr Waldegrave to assign his Lease to Mr Wells
and were of Opinion that the same could not be complied with.

And had Ordered the Surveyor to view twenty three houses
and a Coach Yard situate in Old Bethlem the Leases of which
will expire at Lady day next, and report his Opinion as to
the best mode of letting the said Premises in the future, also to
prepare a plan of all the Hospital Estates situate in and
near Old Bethlem .

And had Ordered that the Surveyor should give such
directions for propping up and securing the Stairs at
Execution Dock as he might think absolutely necessary.

Minutes confirmed
except Etc.


Resolved that the Minutes of the House Committee be confirmed,
except such parts, as relate to the Repairs of the Hall and Chapel, the
Consideration of which is to be postponed till the next Court.

The Minutes of the Prison Committee of the following days were read
and confirmed whereby it appeared,
