Recommendation doth Concur with the said Committee
and It is Ordered that Mr. Treasurer be desired to
pay the said Mr White Fifty Pounds to be allowed him
in his next Account.

Nicholas Nixon< no role > Esqr . one of the Governors
reported that in Pursuance of an Order of Court of the
19th. of July last he had made an Inquiry and found
that John Shaw< no role > late Apprentice to Jeffery Gillingham< no role >
was set up for himself in his Trade and has the Character
of a diligent and Sober Man It is Ordered that the
Steward do Pay the said John Shaw< no role > Ten Pounds out of
Mr. Locks Gift to be allowed him in his next Account.

after for Foster's Gift


Upon Reading the humble Petition of George
Francis Russell
< no role > Citizen and Weaver Settingforth that he
served his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to Roger Owen< no role >
by Indenture dated 10th. June 1774 and by Order of Court
of the1781 was made free of this City the 5th. day
of September 1781 and was set up for himself in his Trade
as a Weaver at No. 4 Paradise Row Gravel Lane Southwark
and Praying part of Mr. Fowk's Gift It is Ordered
that James Kettilby< no role > Esqr . Nicholas Nixon< no role > Esqr . & Thos.
Calverly
< no role > Esqr . or any two of them be desired to Inquire
if the said George Francis Russell be set up for himself
in his Trade and of his hopefulness therein and
Report the same to the Court.
