after for Fowkes Gift


Upon Reading the Humble Petition of George Taylor< no role >
Citizen and weaver Setting forth That he served his Apprenticeship
in this Hospital to George Dell< no role > one of the Artsmasters by
Indenture dated the 14th day of December 1767 and by Order of
Court of the 2d. of March 1775 was made free of this City
the 3d. of October 1775 was Set up for himself at No. 5
Maiden Head Court Aldersgate Street Praying Mr. Fowkes
Gift It is Ordered that Mr Deputy Fouch Mr. Deputy Rose
and Mr. Samuel Read< no role > or any two of them be desired to Inquire
if the said George Taylor< no role > be set up for himself in his said Trade
and of his hopefulness therein and Report the same to the
Court.

Wallis John to be made
Free


At this Court Thomas Gillett< no role > late Apprentice to
Joshua Crickett< no role > and John Wallis< no role > late Apprentice to
Edwd. Grinsell< no role > were Ordered to be made free of this City
