Upon Reading the humble Petition of Anthony Andre< no role > of London Merchant
Setting forthThat the Petr. Proposes to take a Lease (with usual Covenants
between the governors and their Tents.) of a house in Lyme street Square (No.6) Late in-
the Occupation of Mr Bombler being now Empty for 11 Years from Laday next at £40
P Ann clear of Taxes payable quarterly at the Compting house in Bridewell Hospital
The Govrs. putting it into Tenantable repair and to Execute a Counter part of such Lease
And praying the Govrs. to grant him a Lease AccordinglyIt is Ordered that the
sd. Petition be referred to the Comittee of his House to Consider there of and to-
Report their Opinion thereon to the Court.

Gentleman Setting forthThat the Petr. proposes to take a Lease (with usual

Stevenson

Lease Pt of (No.43ba) Refd


Upon Reading the humble Petition of Mathew Arnold< no role > and Thos. Bennett< no role > Churchwardens
of the Parish of Saint John Wapping in the County of Middlesex Setting forthThat the
Inhabitants in the sd. Parish (great part whereof are Tents. of the sd Hospital) have
provided and Enquire for better Securing their Houses from Fire and the most Conveinent
place they can find for building an Enquire house in a peice of ground ontheNorth side
of Cninancon Lane Abutting South on the sd Lane & East, West, & North on the other ground
of the sd. Hospt. in Occupation of Daniel < no role > and Lewis Weston< no role > or their Underten. is
containing from East to West in front to the sd Lane 11 feet & in Depth from North to
south 21 feet which sd. peice of ground is comprized among otter things Mr. Lease from
the Govrs. to the sd Daniel & Lewis (No. 43b) Weston for 48 years from Laday 1744 But the sd
Daniel and Lewis Weston< no role > are willing to Release & Surrender to the Govrs. their
right to the sd peice of ground and in Testimony thereof have Signed this Petition
And praying the Govrs. to grant them a Lease of the sd peice of ground for
the Purpose afsd. at such Yearly rent & for such Term of years as the Governors
shall think fitIt is Ordered that the sd. Petition be referred to the
Comittee of this House to Consider thereof and to Report their Oppinion thereon to the Court

Wapping (No 14) & Pt of No. 7.8) Ref


Upon Reading the humble Petition of Mathew Dove< no role > of Wapping Brewer
Setting forthThat the Govrs. by Lease (No.14) dated the 22d. day of May 1702(No.14)Did Demise
unto Sir Gregory Page< no role > since Deced a Wharf on the south side of Wapping street a house
a Brew house & Brew house Yard and other ground on the Westside of Brewer Lane
& a peice of ground on the North side of Cinnamon Lane To hold from Middsr. 1702
for 54 Years at the Yearly rent of £12. for the first 13 Years £30 for the residue of
the said Term which will expire at Middsr. 1756 which Lease & premes are by
Mesne Assignmts. Vested in your Petr.

That by another Lease (No.7.8) dated the 12th. day of Sepr. 1717 the Govrs. Demised to Wm.
Bates
< no role > sime deced 6 houses and ground on the North side and [..] Couses & Ground on the South side of Wapping Street To hold
from Middsr. 1715 at the rent of £50 P Ann for 49 Years which will expire at
Middsr. 1764 which last Mend Lease is by Mesne Assigmnts. Vested is Thomas
Morson
< no role > who is willing to Surrender the sameThat (if the Govrs. thick fit) a New lease
may be made of the East part of the premes to the Pett. & another Lease of the West part to
the sd. Mr Morson for the residue of the sd Term of 49 Years and the sd rent of £50 to
be Apportined between them.
