Upon Reading a Report from the Comittee of this House bearing date the 28th day of April

Wapping Brown (which was referred to them by Order of Court the 19th. day of Febry said) was read
Selling forthThat the Governors by Indre of Lease dated 1st March 1699 demised to Richard
Peers
< no role > All that Ground Seile Yard & Frinker Wharf & the these double now sick Tenements built
thereon on the North side of Wapping Street in the Parish of St. John Wapping in the County of
Middle Abutting East & North on sevl. Tenemts. formerly in the Possion of Mary Pearce< no role > and there of
Sr . Anthony Dean West on a Tenement there before in the Occupation of Richard Webbt South on
Wapping Street Containing in Rent to Wapping Street 44 feet [..] & as Depth [..] freetand
also 4 other Masses formerly two Messuages Wharfe & Yards lyeing on the Southside of Wapping Street then in
the Occupation ofPoore & page Abutting East on Several Tenemnets [..]

the Remainder of the Term yet to comeThat the sd. Excepted Passage the [..] in the sd
Lease to be 8 feet is no more than 6 feet wide & is [..] & Markth to 6 feet in the Ma [..]
Ground Plott to the said Lease AnnexedThat the sd. Pines are in any ruinous benditch and
must be pulled down & rebuilt & the Petr. exposes to take a have for the Term of be years to
Comence from the Expiration of the sd. Lease in being at the old Rent of £20 P ann clear of Taxes
payable quarterly as the [..] pling house at Bridewell Hospital and to pay a time of £100 & to
layout £1300 increbuilding ½ brick Mosses instead of the 3 on the Northside of Wapping street and
two & alderw house on the Southside instead of the three & the Brow house there to be execute &
Counter part of such Lease with such Covents a save usually Continued in Leases to the Tenent
at Wapping And praying a Lease Accordingly reserveing the sd Passage of 6 feet wide [..]
SpurrsAnd this Comittee haveing Ordered the premes found the same in [..]
and must be rebuiltand Mr. Courte Attending this Comittee was called in & Asked of he [..]
And any thing to this sd. proposals who said he could not Whereupon with Comittee are of
Opinion that upon the Edwd Curtins Paying a Fine of £100 & being obliged to lay out £1500 in rebuilding
the prices According to the second rate of building in London & to [..] a newbuilding on the North
side of Wapping Street 6 feet as much as will make the same range with the Houses East ward
of Pikes & the Houses Westward of the said New building a Lease be [..] turn of the sd. pines
for the Term of 61 yrs. from the Expriation of the Lease if being which [..] be at Laday 1751 at the old
rent of £13 P Ann wch was payable to the Hospl. in ye year 1690 & the further rent of £7 P Ann clear of
[..] makeing together £20 P Ann Ald wch is [..] John [..]
allowed that this opinion to reported of Cont And of sd. Mr. Courtes being called in Agreements [..]
Two Guineas to the poors boxThis Court haveing duely wrights & [..] this sd Report [..] Confirm
the same of And Order that a Lease be made to the said Mr. Curters Accordingly
