Oaths of Mr. Peter Noyes< no role > and Mr. John Hague< no role > Churchwardens of
St. John Zachary London for being a loose disorderly person getting
drunk & abusing them & greatly misbehaving.

At this Court the charge was read to The Earl of Litchfield Sr . William
Courtney
< no role > . Norborne Berkeley< no role > Esqr . and John Crawley< no role > Esqr . as Governors of
these Hospitalls.

Beadles Gra ½ yr. Xmas 1746.


Upon reading the humble petition of the four Beadles & Portersman of this
Hospital for their usual Gratuitys of Forty shillings a peice in respect of the
half year ending at Christmas last for that their Salarys are but small
It is ordered that the Clerk of these Hospitalls do give and pay unto them
Forty Shillings a peice to be allowed him in his next Account.

Basketmen

doUpon reading the humble petition of the three or Basketmen of the
Hospital of Bethlem for their usual Gratuitys of Twenty shillings a peice
in respect of the half Year ending at Christmas last for that their Salarys are
but small It is Ordered that the Clerk of these Hospitalls do give and pay
unto them Twenty shillings a peice to be allowed him in his next Account.

was bound Apprentice to Obadiah Wast< no role > Velvet Weaver one of the Artsmaster s
of this Hospitall for Seven Years desired to be turned over to Thomas
Pew
< no role > - Citizen and Weaver of London for the remainder of the said Term
and the said obadiah & the Mother of the said Apprentice being present and consenting thereto
It is Ordered that the said James Tinsdall< no role > be turned over to the said
Thomas Pew< no role > - (who being also present in Court) agreed to take
him accordingly.

Vacancy of a President in
the room of Sr . Robt. Willimott< no role >
Knt . deced}


The Right Honble The Lord Mayor acquainted the Court with the death
of The Right Worshipfull Sr . Robert Willimott< no role > Knt . & Alderman late
President of these Hospitalls - And His Lordship was pleased to
declare that a Court shall be held next Wednesday the 28th. instant for
the Election of a President and that notice thereof shall be
incerted in the Tickets.
