Upon reading Report from the Comittee of this House under the hands of The
Right Worshipfull Robert Alsop< no role > Esqr . Alderman , Mr. Henry Godwin< no role > Mr. James Bartlott< no role > ,
Mr. Deputy Valentine Brewis< no role > , Mr. Edward Dod< no role > & Mr. Joshua Hinton< no role > bearing date the 19th.
day of February last 1730 in the wards following Vizt.John Price< no role > of Richmond in
the County of Surry Esquire Proposes to take of the Governors of Bethlem Hospital several
Building Leases of the respective premisses at Charing Cross herein after mentiond for 61. years
from Lady day next at the Rent of a Pepper Corn for the first dear and for all the rest of the [..]
Term at the respective yearly Rents hereunder written clear of all Taxes Vizt.

One Lease of the Pewterers House at Charing Cross now in the occupation of Ann Dune< no role >
& formeryl let by Lease (No. 2) abutting East upon the Goat Tavern , West upon a House
& Ground leased to Hugh Hamersly< no role > Esquire North upon Chequer yard and South upon
Charing Cross containing from East to West in Front towards Charing Cross 20. feet & in the
rear 19 Foot & in depth from South to North to a Break of 10. Inches Eastward 62.
foot 8. Inches and from thence Northward 32 foot 8 Inches which makes the whole
depth 93 foot 4 Inches}20.-.-

One Lease of the Goat Tavern adjoining now in the occupation of Thomas Manner< no role > &
formerly let to Benett by Lease (No. 3) abutting East upon a House in the
occupation of Walton Glover< no role > West upon the Pewterers House in the occupation
of Ann Deane< no role > North upon Chequer Yard & South upon Charing Gross containing from
East to West in Front towards Charing Cross 20 foot 7 Inches & in the Rear 19 Foot 10
Inches and from South to North 92 Foot 2 Inches}26.-.-

Another Lease of a percell of Ground called Chequer Yard between St. Martins Lane
& Charing Cross and was part of the Leases (No. 4 &5.)}20.-.-

Another Lease of an empty House in St. Martins Lane Case Watkins< no role > a Baker part
of the Lease (No. 4:) [..] abutting East on St. Martins Lane West on Ground belonging to
the said Hospital North on another empty House belonging to the said Hospital & South
on a publick House the Sign of the Golden Ball in the occupation of Henry Kendal< no role >
Containing in front to St. Martins Lane from North to South 12 foot 10. Inches and in
the rear 12 feet 7 Inches & in depth from East to West 54 foots & Inches}5.-.-

And another Lease of an Empty House in St. Martins Lane part of the said
Lease (No.4: [..] ) abutting East on St. Martins Lane . West on Ground belonging to the
said Hospital North on a House in the occupation of Charles Holmes< no role > Distiller &
South on the last mentiond empty House & containing from North to South 12 foot
6 Inches & in the Rear 12 foot 2 Inches & in depth from East to West 54 feet 8 Inches }5.-.-

The said John Price< no role > also proposes to take of the said Governors several Leases of ye [..]
premisses herein after mentiond for 21 Years from Leday next 1731. at the Rent of One Pepper
Corn for the first & last years & at the respective Rents following for all the rest of the Term Vizt.

One Lease of a House in St. Martins Lane near Charing Cross now in the occupation
of Thomas Weldon< no role > & was part of a Lease (No. 5) abutting East upon the said Lane North
upon a Message in the occupation of Swift Scrivener & South a pon a Message
in the occupation of Tallow chandler containing from North to South
in Front towards the said Lane 12 Feet 7 Inches & in ye. Rear front 14 Feet & in depth
from East to West on the North side 39 Feet 8 Inches & on ye South side 40 feet 6 Inches}30.-.-

One Lease of another House in St. Martins Lane now in the occupation of
Swift Scrivener & was part of a Lease No. 5 abutting East upon the said Lane North
part upon & part over the Gateway leading from St. Martins Lane into Chequer Yard
& South upon the Message in the occupation of the said Weldon containing
from North to South in Front towards the said Lane 12 feet 9 Inches & in ye Rear
front 14 Feet & in depse from East to West on the South side 39 Feet 8 Inches & on the
North side 38 Feet 8 Inches & containing a Room forward over the said Passage.}30.-.-
