At this Court the Charge was read to Nathaniel Collins< no role > Esqr . one of the
Govrs : of these Hospitals.

Inhabitants about Nusances}

Upon reading the Order of the Court made upon the
Petition of the Inhabitants of Bridewell Precinct touching
Several Nusances This Court was informed that the Petrs
had applyed to the Farners of the City Laystalls who Said they did
not think themselves at all concerned therein And the Court being further
acquainted that ye Petrs. were under tenants to Lessees of this Hospital
and would Leave their Habitations unless the Governours would
take Some care to Remedy the Greiveances complained of It is
Ordered that it be Referred to the Comee of this House to consider
the matter and Report to this Court what they think proper to be
done therein.

Ordered that the Comee of this House be desired to consider
whether the Six Hundred Pounds Million Bank Stock which (in
pursuance of an Order of Court the 16th. day of March Last) was
Transferred on Mr. Mounts account to Mr. Treasurer Tayler
for the use of these Hospitals Should continue upon that Security
or how it may be disposed of for the better advantage and
Security of these Hospitals and to Report their Opinion to this
Court

and John Cottle< no role > Esqr dated ye 23d day of Aprill Last in the
words following vizt This Comee in pursuance of an Order of
the Last Court have been attended by Several Workmen with
proposeals for makeing good the Vaults and Foundations of the
four houses in Fowks Court belonging to Bethlem Hospital
which were lately burnt down and Mr. Cordwell the City Carpenter
haveing proposed to this Comittee to make good the Said Vaults
at £5. per Rod including the Charge of Centering which is the
