Upon Reading a Report from ye Comee of Bethlem
hospital dated ye 7th day of July last under the hands of John Tayler< no role >
Esqr . Treasr . Capt . Wm. Ferrour< no role > Mr John Shelton< no role > Mr Cha: Hosier< no role >
Mr Cha Lloyd< no role > Mr. Depty Stamper as followeth vizt.This Comee
viewed the Stove Rooms in this Hospital & are of Opinion That it is
proper to enlarge ye Same by takeing away ye two Back Stayer Cases
and to make ye following alterations in each room for ye Conveniency
of ye. patients vizt. to pull down ye Brest of ye Chimney and make
an Arch over from Jank to Jank to Strike ye heat out to Sett a
Stove in ye Chimney to burn Coles & fence it in wth an iron Bail
round about two foot from ye. Chimney & to rise about 7 foot high
& come over to ye Chimney Top and be fixed in a Stone or iron
CurbThis Court doth confirm the Same and Order that ye
Stove Rooms be forthwith altered accordingly
