Beadles Gratuityes


Also upon reading the Humble Petition of the four Beadles
and Portersman of the Hospital of Bridewell for their usual
gratuitys of forty Shillings a peice in Respect of the halfe year
ending at Michmas last past for that their Sallarys are Small It
is Ordered by this Court That Mr. Trear doe give and pay unto
them forty Shillings a peice as usual to be allowed him in his next
account

Baskettmen Gratuityes


Also upon reading the Humble Petition of the three Beadles
or Baskettmen of the Hospital of Bethlem for their usual
gratintys of Twenty Shillings a peice in respect of the halfe year
ending att Michmas last past It is Ordered That Mr. Trear
doe give and pay unto them Twenty Shillings a peice as usual
to be allowed him in his next account

Also Upon reading the Report of Mr Samuel Keeble< no role > and Mr
Charles Lee< no role > two of the Governors of these Hospitals that upon Enquiry
they doe find that William Kemp< no role > (who Served his Apprentishipp
with one of the Artsmasters of the said Hospital of Bridewell
and has been since made a Freeman of this Citty by order of this
Court) is sett up for himselfe in his Trade of a Weaver att the
signe of the Golden Ball in the Strand in the parish of St.
Clements Danes in the County of Middlex and hath the [..] Report
of an honest Carefull man and a good husband Itt is Ordered
by this Court That Mr. Treasurer doe give and pay unto him
Tenn pounds of the profitts of Mr. Lock and Mr. Fowkes gift to be
allowed Mr. Treasurr. in his next Account.

Also the Several poor boyes hereafter named were ordered to
be putt Apprentices vizt
