Upon Reading to this Court the humble
Petition of Mary Kensey< no role > Widow of Jno Kensey< no role > late
Steward of this Hospll deced Setting forth That
Since her sd. Husbands Death (who was Steward of
this Hospll above 18 Years) she hath made up and
Setled her Accounts to the And ye Satisfacon and
paid the Ballance to Mr. Trear Gardiner And
That by the Custome of this House the Prsines are to
have Small Beer of 4s P Barr But now by
reason of the Excise it Cost her husband 6s.6d P
Barrtt: wch made the profitts of his sd. place lessthos
then any of his prdecessrs was, And her sd. Husband
was ancient and Sickley for many Years before his
Death wch. Rendred him Uncapable of minding any
thing (Except the Business of his place) in Order
to August. his fortune in the World by Reason
whereof She was left in very Low Circumstances P
not able to Subest And that she her Self is Old
Infirme and Blind and not able to gett any
thing for a Livehood And being Acquainted wth
