next and pay ten pounds Fine and this Comittee haveing
deliberately weighed and considered the said proposall and
haveing advised with their Workmen therein, are of Opinion
that a new lease of the Prmisses be granted to the said Wm:
Birdwhistle< no role > for 21 years at the Rent of £20 P anum with a
Covenant to Surrender his lease to the Hospll In case they
shall hereafter think fitt to take the Prmisses into their
hands Upon paying to the said Wm Birdwhistle< no role > so
much money as shall be agreed upon betweene arbitrators
for that purpose to be appointed and under and subject to
such [..] Covenants Provisoes and Condicons as are usually
contained in the leases granted to the Hosplls Tenants and
as was heretofore contained in the lease made to Isaac
Puller< no role > of the same Prmises:

And the said Report being here duely weighed & considered
This Court doth confirme the same and Order That a
lease be made to the said Wm Birdwhistle accordingly:

Beadles gratuitys

Also upon the humble Peticon of the four beadles
and Porters Man of the Hospitall of Bridewell for their
usuall gratuitys of twenty shillings a peice in respect of ye
halfe year ending at Michas last as also for twenty shill
a peice more as hath been usually given them for that
their Sallarys are small and they have familys
maintaine It is Ordered by this Court that Mr Trear do
give and pay unto them forty shillings a piece as usuall
to be allowed him in his next account

Do Baskettmen

Also Upon the humble peticon of the three beadles
or baskett Men of the Hospll of Bethlem for their usuall
gratuitys of £20 a peice given by this Court in respect of the
halfe year ending at Michas last It is Ordered by this
Court that Mr Trear do give and pay unto them twenty
shillings a peice to be allowed Mr Trear in his next accot:
