Also upon the humble Peticon of John Smith< no role > Cittizen and Weaver
of London (who was brought up Apprentice with Daniel Nipp< no role > Weaver (one of
the Arts Masters of the said Hospll.) and Since made s Freeman of this
Citty by the Approbacon of this Court, and who is Sett up for himself
(as he alleadgeth) in Frying pan Ally in petticoat Lane neer Mr.
Furmis's there for some part of Mr. Locks gift the better to enable
him to manage his Said Trade It is Ordered by this Court that
Mr. Anbry and Mr. Dupree (two of the Governors. of this Hospll.) be
desired to Enquire of the said John Smith< no role > Whether he be Soe Sett up
in his said Trade and of his hopefullness therein and to make
report thereof to the next Court.

to be Inquired of.


Also upon the humble Peticon of John Torlington< no role > Cittizen and
Weaver of London (who was brought up Apprentice with John Boule< no role > Weaver
(one of the Artsmasters of the said Hospll.) and since made a Freeman
of this Citty by the Approbacon of this Court, and who is Sett upp
for himself in his said Trade (as he alleageth) in Green Arbr.
Court in the Old Bayly ) for some part of Mr. Locks gift the
better to enable him to manage his said Trade It is Ordered
by this Court that Mr. Kniveton and Mr. Porter (two of the
Governors of this Hospll.) be desired to enquire of the said John
Torlington Whether he be soe sett up in his said Trade and of his
hopefullness therein and to make report thereof to the next Court.

Glover of London (who was brought up Apprentice with John
Fowler

made a Freeman of this Citty by the Approbacon of this Court
and who is sett up for himselfe in his said Trade (as he Alleadgeth
at Mr. Thomas Humfreys< no role > Mason on Addle Hill ) for some part
of Mr. Locks Gift the better to enable him to manage his said
Trade It is Ordered by this Court That Mr. Ashton and Mr.
Smith (two of the Governors of this Hospll.) be desired to Inquire
of the Said Nicholas Gething whether he be Soe Sett up in his Said
Trade and of his hopefullness therein and to make Report thereof
to the next Court.
