Who being upon Oath say, and first the said Wilson
says that a Person now present who calls himself Andrew
Gowdey hath lodged in this Informants House about a Year and
a Quarter during which time he hath frequently missed different
Sums of Money out of his Till in his BarThat Suspecting

to be the Person that robbed him of
said Money he hath several Nights past sat up in order
to detect the OffenderThat he sat up last Night with the

eight pence half pennyThathissaid Gowdey was then conveyed to St.
Martins
Watch House where he was Searched and four
