Who being on Oath Says that he is Chief Clerk for Keeping a
Charge on Pursers and Adjusting the Accompts of Masters of
Transports in the Victualling Office
That he hath examined a Paper Writing now produced
purporting to be an Order of Sir Edward Hughes< no role >
on Mr. Gambold

of the Superbe for Provision Etc for the Use of the
Garrison of Gorse and a Receipt purporting to be the Receipt
of Leiut Colonel Rooke Indorsed thereon and verily believes
that he received the said Paper Writing from Henry Evans

, but which Paper Writing this Informant informed said
Mr. Williams that he could not allow That in a Day or two
afterwards William Robertson< no role >

Informant and asked this Informant Why this Informant
would not Allow the SaidOrderReceipt when this Informant
Receipt that he could not Allow it became the Order of

was addressed to the Person of the
