over did any Act to gain a Settlement in his own right

& that this Deponts sd Father also rented a house in the same parish
& was charged to & paid Poors Rates & Kings Taxes for the Same
& by means there of gained a legal Settlement there & did not
afterwards do any Act to gain a Settlement for himself elsewhere
nor did this Deponents mother after his death to this Deponts
knowledge or belief do any Act to gain a Settlement for herself
That she this Depont was never an apprentice nor ever lived as a hired
Servant for a year nor was ever married nor ever did any act to gain
a Settlement for herself That she hath a child named
