maketh oath that her Brother James Barnwell< no role > was born in
St Catherines Lane in the parish of St. Botolph without
Aldgate in the said county and this Deponent can in no way
Set forth or discover where her late Father or Mother or
either of them was or were legally Settled at the time of
their respcive deaths or at any time previous thereto That
her said Brother to her knowledge or belief never was an
Apprentice nor ever lived as a hired Servant for a year nor
over did any Act to gain a Settlement in his own right

that her late Mother deced has informed her & which She believes
to be true that this Deponts. late Father William Anderson< no role > deced
was bound to & Served the whole of his Apprenticeship with this
Deponts grand far in that part of West Smithfield which is in
the parish of St Sepulchre withr Newgate in the City of London
& that this Deponts sd Father also rented a house in the same parish
& was charged to & paid Poors Rates & Kings Taxes for the Same
& by means there of gained a legal Settlement there & did not
afterwards do any Act to gain a Settlement for himself elsewhere
nor did this Deponents mother after his death to this Deponts
knowledge or belief do any Act to gain a Settlement for herself
That she this Depont was never an apprentice nor ever lived as a hired
Servant for a year nor was ever married nor ever did any act to gain
a Settlement for herself That she hath a child named Ann Williams< no role >
aged about three years & four months which was born a Bastard in
the said parish of St Sepulchre
