It is Ordered by this Court that the Clerk of the
Peace of this County Doe write a respectfull
Letter to the Right Honourable the Lord William
Powlett to acquaint his Lordship that his Majties:
Justices of the Peace
of this County Assemblee
at Hicks hall
on this Day desire his Lordships
Company at Dinner with them at Hicks hall
on the County day of the next Generall Quarter
Sessions being Thursday the tenth day of July
next at one of the clock in the afternoon and
after Dinner to inform them of the Motives
which his Lordship and Colonel Robert
Gardner
had for granting a Licence to one

at the White horse at Twickenham
to keep a common Alehouse, after he had
been refused the Same, as keeping a disorderly
House, by Six Justices of the peace of the
Division of New Brentford
Assembled in
Petty Sessions, to whom the said Gill applyed
for that purpose at the last Generall Renewall
of Licences for that Division, whereof
Complaint was this Day made unto this
Court on behalfe of the said Six Justices,
