irregular Proceeding with which he is Charged
for his haveing applyed to and obtaining from the
Right hononourable the Lord William Powlett< no role > and
Robert Gardner< no role > Esquire since deceased two of his
Majesties Justices of the Peace for this County
a Licence for his keeping a Common Alehouse
and Selling of Beer and Ale after he had been
refused such Licence, as keeping a disorderly
House, by Six of his Majesties Justices of the
Peace of this County of the Division of New
Brentford assembled in Petty Sessions,

Order to Search
for Precedents
touching the Suppressing
of Alehouse keepers
Licences,

It is Ordered by this Court that the Clerk of
the Peace of this County doe Search and
Report to the Court on the County day of
the next Generall Quarter Sessions of the Peace
for this County being Thursday the tenth day of
July next, what Precedents he finds (if any)
of Ale house keepers Licences suppressed or
Sett a Side by the Court of Generall or Quarter
Sessions where they have been granted by
any particular Justices of the Peace of any
particular Division after haveing been
refused by other Justices of the same Division
or by the Justices at any Generall Renewall
of Ale house keepers Licences, And
in Generall how the Precedents stand
with relation to the Suppressing of
Ale house keepers Licences by the
Court,
