Poor of the Parish of Saint Giles without
Cripplegate London , and the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Southery in the County of
Norfolk and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Giles
London, That Mary Brickley< no role > Wife of John Brickley< no role >
who is a Soldier in his Majesty & Service and their
three Children Margaret< no role > aged Ten Years Ann< no role > aged
four Years & John< no role > aged Two Years are
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Mary Brickley as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Mary Brickley and her three
Children
to be in the said Parish of Southery
and that thither to they ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Giles
London, forthwith to remove and conveythe said or Cause to be Remov'd
and Convey'd the said Mary Brickley and her three Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Southery
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this third Day of Sepr One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Fifty Six .
