Esquire Lord Mayor of the City of London and the
rest of the Worshipfull his Majestys Justices of the
peace for the said City in their General Quarter
Session of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Southery in the County of Norfolk

Sheweth


That by an Order or Pass Warrant under the hands and
Seals of your Lordship and William Stephenson< no role > Esquire one
of the Aldermen of the said City two of his Majestys Justices
of the peace for the said City (one whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing date the third Day of September one thousand seven
hundred and Fifty six Mary Brickley< no role > Wife of John Brickley< no role >
said to be a Soldier in his Majestys Service and their three
Children Margaret< no role > aged ten years Ann< no role > aged Four years and
John< no role > aged two years were Removed and Conveyed out of the
Parish of Saint Giles without Cripplegate London unto the said
Parish of Southery in the County of Norfolk as the place of their
last legal Settlement

Your Petitioners Conceiving themselves Aggrieved
thereby do humbly Appeal against the said order
or Pass Warrant and pray such Relief in the
premisses as to your Lordship and Worships
shall seem meet

And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
