To the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor of the
City of London and the Rest of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace of or the said City in their General Quarter Session of the
Peace Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Michael Bassishaw in London

Sheweth


That by an Order or Pass Warrant under the hands
and Seals of Two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said City
(One whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the Twenty fifth Day of
October in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and fifty five
Deborah Mathews< no role > Widow of Herbert Mathews< no role > Deceased was removed and
conveyed from and out of the Parish of Alhallows on the Wall in London
aforesaid into the said Parish of Saint Michael Bassishaw

Your Petitioners conceiving themselves
Aggrieved thereby Do humbly Appeal against
the said Order or Pass Warrant and Pray
Such Relief in the Premises as to your Lordship
and Worships shall seem most meet.
