Examination Text | Diana Turner aged 34 years destitute of lodging upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was bound an apprentice by an indenture for five years to Francis LaVollie a Gold and Silver Button Maker in Kynastons Alley in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served all her time out which expired about 12 years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since the expiration of her said apprenticeship. Sworn the 29th day of September 1756 before Benjamin Cox. |
