Examination Text | Charlotte Palmer aged 50 years lodging in Kynastons Alley in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow of Charles Palmer (who died about 15 years ago) to whom she was married at St Ann's Church Westminster about 18 years ago, that since his death having no children living she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Baxter at the Black Boy and [?] in St Martin's Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of 16 months at the yearly wages of 6 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about six years ago, that she hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since.
